It provides in depth exploration of text discourse analysis, focusing on different aspects of analysing a text. It further focuses on showing the students' abilities in structuring any type of text. In other words, it makes students acquainted with learning and examining how texts are structured, how meaning is constructed and how discourse functions in different contexts. This course is also important for students as it helps them to enhance their reading skills in acquiring the English language. Moreover, it grapples with how students become active independent learners and develop their critical thinking skills.
