This Memoir presents a comprehensive investigation into the development and implementation of an event-triggered control strategy for large-scale systems via fieldbus protocols, ensuring system stability and optimizing control performance in the presence of network-induced imperfections. Giving a comprehensive overview of large scales, and their modeling methods and problems. The design methodology incorporates the selection of appropriate event conditions, trigger parameters to achieve the desired system performance while minimizing network utilization. The conditions obtained are tested using numerical illustrative examples representing different LSSs with network-induced delay, as well as a comparison with other existing methods in terms of robustness
