dc.description.abstract | This thesis focuses on optimizing the production of ethylene oxide in a continuous stirred tank reactor (CSTR) using sliding mode control. It discusses the system modeling, controller design, simulation, and performance evaluation. The results show that sliding mode control is effective in improving production efficiency and selectivity. Sliding mode control parameters are also studied to reduce oscillations and enhance system stability. This research contributes to a better understanding of control techniques in chemical reactors and provides valuable insights for the optimization of ethylene oxide production processes. | |
