Abstract
First and foremost, Praise and thanks be to God who gave us the ability to complete this thesis.
I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all those who have supported and guided me
throughout the journey of completing this thesis. This work would not have been possible
without the contributions, encouragement, and unwavering support of several individuals and
organizations.
First and foremost, I extend my heartfelt thanks to my PhD supervisors, Dr Bendib Riad and
Pr Zennir Youcef, for their invaluable guidance, insightful feedback, and constant motivation.
Their expertise and mentorship have been instrumental in shaping the direction and quality of
this research. I am deeply grateful for their patience and willingness to support me through
every step of this process.
I am also thankful to the faculty members and colleagues at the Department of Petrochemical
and Process Engineering, Skikda University, Skikda, Algeria.
A special thanks to my family: my parents my siblings and my second family Salhi Karim
and Atroune shahrazed, for their unconditional love, patience, and encouragement. Their
unwavering belief in my abilities has been my greatest source of strength and it pushed me
