dc.description.abstractn order to contribute to environmental protection in general, and the treatment of polluted water in particular, we were interested in this study to eliminate an artificial dye (methyl orange) by adsorption on tea residue. We used the latter once as a raw adsorption material, and other times as a support for the preparation of activated carbon. Studying the effect of some factors on the adsorption capacity, namely initial concentration, mass of adsorbent and contact time, gave encouraging results
