dc.description.abstractIn this work we study a transmission problem for one dimensional wave equations with nonlinear weights and under the effects of time-varying delay. Using Kato’s technique we prove existence and uniqueness of solutions and we construct a suitable Lyapunov functional to understand the asymptotic behavior of solutions.
