    Writing is a fundamental skill that students need to improve in order to master a language. This course is designed for First Year LMD students of English, inviting them to sharpen their writing potentials. Basically, it enables them to develop essential skills that conform to academic writing. It focuses on the essential components of effective sentence and paragraph. Accordingly, this course introduces to the basic elements of a sentence as well as explores its different types. Students will learn how to structure their ideas clearly and present them in a more creative and engaging way. After exploring the sentence, the course steers the wheel to a bigger unit which is the paragraph. Students will be able to grasp the parts involved in the making up of a paragraph and its common types. This helps them to think logically by creating coherent and unified paragraphs. Subsequently, the course provides a fertile ground for student, helping them to express their ideas in different manners.
