    Existence of Solutions to a fourth order Neutral Differential Equation via the Krasnoselskii Fixed-Point Theorem

    In this work, a fourth-order neutral functional differential equation with a time-varying delay is investigated. With the help of the Krasnoselskii fixed point theorem as well as the Green's functions method and some functional analysis tools, we established some sufficient criteria that ensure the existence of at least one positive periodic solution for the proposed equation

    Les équations différentielles fonctionnelles à retard en biologie

    Dans ce travail, nous avons étudié une classe d'équations différentielles à retard issues de modèles biologiques. À l'aide d'une technique puissante basée sur le théorème du point fixe de Legett-Williams, la méthode des fonctions de Green et quelques outils de l'analyse fonctionnelle, des conditions suffisantes sont établies pour garantir l'existence d'au moins trois solutions périodiques et positives des équations proposées. En outre, des applications à trois modèles biologiques sont données pour illustrer la faisabilité des principaux résultats.

    Positive periodic solutions for a class of second-order differential equations with state-dependent delays

    In this paper, we consider a class of second order differential equations with iterative source term. The main results are obtained by virtue of a Krasnoselskii fixed point theorem and some useful properties of a Green’s function which allows us to prove the existence of positive periodic solutions. Finally, an example is included to illustrate the correctness of our results.
