In other words, it makes students acquainted with learning and examining how texts are structured, how meaning is constructed and how discourse functions in different contexts. This course is also important for students as it helps them to enhance their reading skills in acquiring the English language. Moreover, it grapples with how students become active independent learners and develop their critical thinking skills. The primary aim of this course is to prelude students to know what research is and what are the different aspects related with research. Moreover, it focuses on how students become active independent learners and develop their critical thinking skills. It provides students with technical terms, definitions, basic expressions, concepts and other aspects related to the field of research.
